Welcome to LaSalle Roane Ancestry. I created this store for my family, but anyone interested in history is welcome. We're all descended from thousands of ancestors. Most of them lived ordinary lives, and we are the sum product of them all. But everyone has ancestors who lived extraordinary lives, and maybe some who even changed history. These are a few of our more prominent and colorful forebearers. Here you'll find a glimpse into, and a reminder of the ancestors of our ancestors. Every person featured here is the ancestor of at least one and sometimes two of these (great) grandparents: E. P. LaSalle, F. M. Fortier, J. S. B. Roane, and M. M. V. Moresi. The featured ancestors are described in terms of their relationship to the above four. For example, Valcour Aime is the second great grandfather of both F. Fortier and J. S. B. Roane. To find your relationship to the featured one, just add the number of subsequent generations down to you. If you are descended from one of the featured ancestors but not from my grandparents, feel free to use the edit button to change the descriptive information to your branch of the family.
