Based on her inner travels, Norwegian artist Liv Torunn began expressing herself with oil and acrylic painting. The mystical atmosphere and nature of her works have brought about many orders and commissioned works both public and private throughout the years, as well as different illustration orders for posters, t-shirt designs, booklet covers, kids and pets portraits just to mention a few. Today, Liv Torunn translates her inner visions through the digital realm. Accidently, She discovered the possibilities of digital media while updating her website. Wishing to add older works to her gallery of long gone pieces, She began trying to enhance lower quality photos digitally and a new world opened up to her. Presently, Liv Torunn primarily creates her works using a pen pad and open source software to channel her inner world. She later oversees the printing and mounting of the finished works on either aluminum or PVC, large and small, as well as offering special versions available for print on demand at many major internet outlets. "As an artist my greatest inspiration has always been the human being. The ability to manifest a person or persons on my canvas is always a magical experience. To bring my vision to life through a certain posture or facial expression is more powerful then words for me to tell my story. However, I have experienced more than once that it is best to let the viewer make their own interpretation as my message is the conveyance of feelings."
