A little more about me: I am a 10-year-old little kid, cleverly disguised as a “woman of a certain age.” Ordinary, garden-variety, (very) happily married photography / digital art fanatic, a mom of two, grandmom of one … two darling dogs also share my life. The photographic images in my portfolios were taken with either a Nikon D300, a Nikon D40x or an Olympus C5000 Zoom. My lenses are an 18-135mm, a 55-200mm VR, a 70-300mm VR, an 18-200mm VR and a 60mm Macro, all Nikkor/Nikons, and a 150-500mm OS Sigma. I regularly shoot with UV, CP and ND Grad filters, and am enjoying learning to shoot infra red. I shoot with a ball-head Manfrotto tripod only when absolutely necessary. A Nikon SB400 bouncing speedlight is the final part of my equipment. I do post processing primarily in Photoshop and Corel Paint 11. Raw images are processed in either Nikon’s Capture NX2 or Bibble Pro. HDR work is done in Photomatix Pro. The Wacom Intuos 4 tablet and pen are an important part of my post processing kit, as well. I can’t seem to make up my mind what I like to photograph best, so … just about anything that’s colorful and can’t get away from me gets snapped.
