Mieux_Market

Mieux Market is a branch of LeMieuxComic.com, the website designed and launched in 2018 to celebrate the comic strip artist cat, Le Mieux. "Le Mieux "started as a weekly comic strip in January 2014. The strip gained a Facebook following and then began to be published in a small newspaper in Minnesota. Characters in the comic include Le Mieux (a wannabe-French cat), Bunny (an All-American house rabbit), Phil (a mischievous wild raccoon), Gata (the Hispanic neighbor cat), and Hobo (an uncommonly well-educated and well-mannered opossum). The interaction of characters is both comical and educational, involving the intertwining of art, culture, and social concepts to help readers better understand the humor behind the multicultural and multiracial world we live in today. The creator, Jessica Woken, took a break from developing the strips to further expand the Le Mieux brand (that is, to build a website), but plans to start up the weekly comic again no later than January 2019. The Zazzle Mieux Market is a preliminary marketplace that is being used while the official website market (at LeMieuxComic.com) is being built. Royalties from the sale of Mieux Market products goes toward funding the creation of animated educational short cartoons aimed at a K-5 audience to teach children about art, culture, and self-discovery. The cartoon will be titled "Le Mieux and Amis", which means "Le Mieux and Friends" in French.
