Nan Wright's Art

My watercolor paintings are done with the "limited palette" of three primary colors. I also work in graphite, pen/ink, acrylic, alcohol inks and photography. Most of the items in my shop are funny and humorous with silly and funny sayings to make you laugh-out-loud. Being one-of-a-kind and hilarious, they fit most occasions. My goal is to produce a happy smile on your face. History has taught us when times get tough or stressful, we all need a little humor to level our emotions and help make sense of our everyday lives. The other avenue I have explored involves my granddaughter, who did photo shoots of me with different themes. This came about during the COVID-19 pandemic when I discovered we all needed some humor in our sequestered and isolated lives. We had so much fun doing the first shoot in 2020, we repeated it in 2021 and 2022 with more themes in the future. This series in my shop is called “BADASS Women" where the photos on greeting cards and products are paired with humorous sayings.
