Retro fiction

It is a retro-fiction or retro-futuristic style that presents a prediction of the future as described before 1960 or alternatively represents an imaginary representation of the future today, in the visual language from before 1960. The futuristic retro style also known by its foreign name "retro-futurism" is an eclectic style that is visually presented as "retro" and incorporates futuristic technology. The retro-futuristic style explores the issues between the past and the future and the alienating and immense effects of technology on man. In the works there is a description of parallel reality and quite timeless images are created where the viewer cannot really decipher when and where the scene takes place. The works can depict a very distant future but also not, since images from different eras and different landscapes are used to create "parallel worlds" or "dreams".
