I am retired from the Army in the fall of 2004., after 24 years spending all the time enlisted. It is not for everyone: My career was nothing special and I enjoyed the things that I did. I feel that I helped and touched many lives while being a Leadership Instructor for 10 years. . After I retired it was found through a series of test and so on that I have an medical Condition called " Chiari Malformation 1" at the present time my herniation is 3 cm; I am yet to have surgery. Several of my drawing's display Chiari Malformations. In easy terms either my brain is either to big or my skull is to small as a result my mid brain is slowly being forced onto my spine. As a result it blocks or slows down the spinal fluid flow to the brain which causes pressures to build up and gives constant headaches at all times, balance problems from time to time and a lot of other challenges we Chiarians deal with on a daily basis. I have created several T shirt's here on my web site for awareness. Currently for the last 10 years I am a EMD / Fire Dispatcher for the Fire Dept located on Offutt Air Force Base, Bellevue Nebraska. As an artist I am always evolving into new things and experiences do to outside factors that are going on in my life. I am currently in the process of shooting "Raw Nature" photographs that are untouched, photo shopped or anything. What you see is what you get. Just as nature is. I am a self taught artist and all the paintings that you see are mine and done in Acrylic paints and colored pencils.
