West Pac Cruises Aboard the USS JUNEAU (LPD-10) and the USS MONTICELLO (LSD-35) 1985 - 1988: Marine Security Guard Battalion ( STATE DEPARTMENT ) AMERICAN EMBASSY DUTY: Brazzaville, Congo; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Moscow, Russia 1990 - 1991: AWARDED COMBAT MERITORIOUS MAST: During Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. COMBAT OPERATION: Operation Desert Storm Task Force X-Ray Tow Platoon 3rd Marines, 1st Marine Division. 1993: Medically Discharged due to injuries that was sustained while serving.
