Want to know God personally? I'm so glad you do. The answer is found in the Bible verse John 3:16 *For God so love the world (God loves you so much) *That He sent His only Son (His Son, Jesus, came to earth and died on the cross, was buried and rose again.) *That whoever believes in Him (The first step is believing, trusting) *Will not perish (The Bible tells us that in Romans 3:23 that everyone sins or does thing that is displeasing to God. Then in Romans 6:23 we see that the payment for that sin is death. Sounds harsh. But keep reading.) *But have eternal life! (Good news! When you choose to give your life to Jesus, follow Him, you also have eternal life! You can know that God's Son, Jesus, died in our place. In giving your life to Him you can live forever.) What do you DO to follow Jesus? Pray this simple prayer: "Dear God, I have done things that displease you. I'm sorry. I believe Jesus died for me, in my place. I want to follow Him and give my life to you." What next? *Tell someone the decision you have made. (If you made this decision, I can be one person you tell. Message me.) *Get involved in a Bible believing, faith-based church. *Talk to a pastor in that church. *Get a Bible and start reading it. A good place to start is John.
