Don has always been "Best in His Class" as a visual artist from Junior High, to High School and even in College as the most gifted artist during his school years. Don spent 9 years in Los Angeles honing his skills throughout the 90's and eventually moved back to Akron, Ohio where he continues to pursue his art career. Currently Don is the Sr. Art Director for the famous "Jackson Family Foundation" ever since "Michael Jackson" passed away June 25, 2009. His work has been published all over the world in print magazines and digitally online where he has made a powerful impact with his "Jackson Family Foundation" and "Las Vegas Hollywood Magazine works in particular. Don's fantastic color palette is endless it seems and almost florescent at times with his vibrant and intelligently mixed array of colors. His dynamic compositions range from very surreal and formal balanced visuals at times to strong colorful informal balanced compositions. All artists and creatives are spiritually tuned in because they naturally access their intuitive creative nature more redly than most souls whether in a dream state or waking state. That is that part of the artist's brain that connects with the universal consciousness to look at things much closer than most. Don is right at home with being able to look at things differently and is able to find beauty where others may see nothing there.
