Derived from the public domain images featured on arnoldtradecards.com and arnoldgalleries.com these fine designs first appeared in Civil War widow Emma Jane Arnold's trade card scrapbook in about 1885. The artists were usually employed by the lithographic printers of the era and remained anonymous.
