My name is Yvonne West and I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. Drawing and Painting are one of my passions. I like to use it as a way to tell stories. As a child, I love to draw and paint. I would look at my father drawing and become inspired by his drawing and want to draw like him. So, at only nine years old I browsed his old art books and taught myself basic shapes of drawing people. At the urging of my grade school art teacher, my mother put me an in art classes in the 7th grade. I hope to move people with my work.
