What fun to see my macro photography turned into cards. My project for BeFeathered is off to a running start. Here you see a molted pheasant feather. I only use the molted ones to protect species from harm. The pattern below is a fabric made from the same bird's molted feathers. Write me for details about ordering the fabric.

Using molted feathers is a brilliant idea because it conserves avian wildlife while recycling. Yes, I love feathers. I save the molted feathers of my companion birds. the lady gouldian finch is one of the most beautiful birds!

This macro view gives you an extreme closeup of the molted feather and Zazzle has done a good job printing it.

The card is absolutely perfect, gorgeous; very! personal, I even included a photo of my friend who is retiring after 45!! years.

Perfect, I used White on a green background on the front, which matched the graphic, black inside but green in the last/back side, with a small saying of encouragement.

Designing the card was easy BUT I wish there was a way to place the images all the way to the edge of the card instead of having a white border. Made for a quick and professional looking Thank You Card for the workplace.

I enjoyed the option of being able to print on all surfaces of the card; front, back, and both inside sections. I would have liked to be able to extend the images to the edge of the card, rather than having a white border. The colors and the images turned out nice and vibrant. Nothing was blurry or fuzzy looking.
