Sunflower Bees Coaster

The floral blooms of plants are an ancient beauty from nature, taking on countless sizes, forms, and colours. Sunflowers have a sunny reputation of their own, but when I saw two little bees perched on the centre of one in a way that resembled a smiley face, I knew I wanted to create an acrylic painting of the sight. The resulting painting is featured on this coaster.
