Review Standards
We do our best to ensure all reviews on Zazzle are given equal and transparent treatment, so we can help customers make informed purchase decisions, provide Creators with feedback about their designs, and ensure our fulfillment partners meet our high quality standards. Customers who have made a verified purchase of the product may leave a review, subject to the following guidelines:
- Screening for inappropriate content: All reviews must go through a screening process to ensure the review conforms with our User Agreement and the Zazzle Content Guidelines, meaning it is free of inappropriate content, including but not limited to: acts of violence, illegal activity, sex/pornography, disparaging, untrue, and content of objectionable nature. If the written and/or visual content of the review is deemed inappropriate, we will: (a) reject the review and the star rating and (b) the review will not be published onto the website or mobile app.
- Screening for personally identifiable information: Many of the products we offer for sale are customisable and may contain personal details such as phone number(s), address(es), as well as images of minors. We will hide reviews containing this information to protect the safety of Zazzle customers.
- Nonsensical content: In addition to the content standards above, we will also screen and reject reviews containing gibberish, or reviews that do not relate to Zazzle, its products, or services.
- Removal of Images. We may remove images and/or videos from written reviews if they do not abide by our above-mentioned guidelines.
In addition, we will clearly indicate when:
- Creators review their own products. We will indicate if the author of review is also the Creator of the product being reviewed.
- The reviewer is a member of the Zazzle Reviewer Programme: • Reviews with Financial Incentives. Customers are sometimes incentivised in the form of a Zazzle discount code or a promotional credit after publishing their review. • Reviews by Employees and associated people. If the author of the review is a Zazzle Employee, or associated with a Zazzle Employee (such as a friend or family member) who may have received an employee discount, they author is required to identify themselves as such in their review.
